Weir Rockin 2008 Update
Weir Rockin 2008
Head line bands are Chilliwack and Haywire
August 23, 2008
Weir Field, Upper Sackville, Nova Scotia
Gates open at 5:00 pm; tickets are $25.00 per person
There is beer tents on-site; you must be 19 years of age
Sheree and I are just west of Weir Field, at 2610 Sackville Dr., You cannot miss us, our house is red. There is no parking for those people attending the concert, you must use public transit. Buses will load at the new Link site just off the Beaverbank road exit.
The traffic will be crazy coming up from Sackville.
For those of you coming to our house from the east, it would be easier for you to go to the Mount Uniacke exit on Highway 101 and turn right onto Highway #1, (Sackville Dr.), as mentioned we are at 2610 Sackville Dr.
From our field, if it’s a clear night, you will mainly hear thumping and banging, as opposed to clear music.
Sheree and I are offering our freshly mowed field for camping. Our tea house is available for rain and bug free conversation, Ross type tech sessions and fish stories. We also have a fire pit. For those who may venture this way overnight you are more than welcome to use our Bar-B-Q for cooking.
Hope to see you all

Re: Weir Rockin 2008 Update
Greg and Sheree; Thank you for inviting and hosting a soirée at your home on Saturday Aug 23rd. 8 members and guests attended with 4 tents pitched, included to banner tent on the top of the field. The fireside tall tales and ramblings made for a bug-free, entertaining evening. Thanks again for your hospitality, comraderie, the coffee and breakfast the next morning.
