Quebec-Nova Scotia meeting

Last year, 7 riders from Nova Scotia met 15 riders from Quebec for a week end.
This year, with the organizer from Quebec we decided to do it again.
I hope that we will get more people from NS to attend this event.
Last year was a real success. The accomodation for this meeting was really nice and cheap.
We are planing to have this meeting on July 25,26, 27. The location is Grand Falls (New Brunswick) and it's about 700kms from Halifax.

I couldn't make it last year but hope to this year. My oldest son is getting married in July but hasn't set a confirmed date yet.

We should keep talking about this event at all of our meetings and encourage people to attend. It looks like a great site.

I'm hopeful to attend, but I've used up a lot of travel points in the last few days and I plan to get to Labrador. The photos from last year's event sure looked like a good time was had by all.

This event will go on for the second edition in July 2008.
The big cottage has been reserved (and prepaid) for July 25 & 26 and hopefully we will get a higher participation from BMWONS.
Could the people going to the DownEast formally invite the Maine riders to join us for this event?
After all, they are living on the East side of the continent.
Everybody is welcome to attend and no reservation is required. An email to me stating your intention to participate would be welcome as it will help us planning the week end.

Last night I was talking to Richard (the organizer of for the Quebec club). He told me that all the people who attended last year are planning to come back this year as well as a lot of other people.
The rally is less than 2 months away, and I would like to have an idea of who is interested to participate.
This year, a large camping area is also provided for people who want to camp.

We have handed out flyers to the Main Riders and to the Quebec group from the Riviere du Loup, they expressed interest. I think one fellow attended last year , forgot his name though. Let me know if you need pre-registration ahead of time.
I will be taken some flyers with me for sunday for both the 30th and the NB rally

Yes, this year we rented the space for Friday and Saturday.
Bruce Marilyn and me will leave Friday morning.

FYI, the following info is on the calendar page but I will add it here because I was aked: The get together is at the Paradise Mountain Campground at exit 69 on the TCH, near Grand Falls. Cheers.

It will be on again next year.

We may be in the area on our way back from Ontario on Friday night, heading on to Nova Scotia on Saturday. Whats the deal...cannot find anything on the site for 2009...where is the rally site...can we stay Friday evening and what are the accomodations/cost and are there motels/hotels close to the site

The Quebec-NS meeting is planned for July 24,25,26.
I will be leaving on the Friday morning(24) and it would be interesting to know who is going and maybe ride together.
Some people will leaving the Friday evening or Saturday morning.

The location of the cottage/camping is about 10kms after Grand Falls. Take exit 69 on the Trans Canada Highway. Its about 5 or 6 kms from the highway and well indicated.

If you sleep at the cottage, the cost is about $15-$16 a night.
We are planning for a ride on Saturday for people arriving on Friday.
Halifax-Grand Falls is about 700kms by the Highway.
