additional gauges for a 75S Empty additional gauges for a 75S

Post by swells Sun Nov 25, 2007 3:16 pm

I found a link that will save me a few questions, http://ibmwr.org/ktech/temp-gage-replace.shtml.
I would like to put a temp and a fuel
gauge on the 75S. The temp gauge looks like
an easy place to start.

Does anyone know the
size of the coolant drain plug on the bottom of the water/oil pump? The 75S didn’t come with a fluid temp sensor,
so I need to fine one that will fit.

additional gauges for a 75S Empty sensor

Sorry I don't know the size I got my sensor plug at Bob's in US for $16usd ...the dealer in Moncton wanted $96cad for the same part. I haven't installed it yet and it's tough to read but it says "BMW" and then "1 459 270" which I think is the last piece of the part #. It also says ".90" which may be a size??

Check out this for a very helpful copy of the parts fiche http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/fiche.asp
