New to BMW rider here:-)
I just picked up a 2009 G650 XCountry and really love riding.
The weather has been great and I would love to squeeze a few more weeks out of the season. If there are any rides that you would not mind a new guy tagging along, I would be all in.
That being said, I am a 45 year old new guy and have no desire for hell bent for leather speed either.
Cheers,
Brian Power

Hey Brian. Did you get that machine off Kijiji. Looked nice.
Anyways, my name is Shereef, email is shereef@shereef.ca
I can go riding anytime (well not ANY time). Have you had the bike off road, and are you planning to? There are some trails here and there that are close by that are not bad.

Riding
I did buy it from George on Kijiji. He took great care of it and it was quite a deal too. I have been to Bowater on by exit 5, the pole line off the Lucasville road and some trails out by Porter's Lake. The tyres are not very chunky and while logging roads were fine, the deeper mud and sloppy stuff gave a good challenge. I am shopping for knobby tyres but I may not install them till next season. Love to get in a ride this weekend if you are keen. bpower at thehideoutstudios dot com is me...

Welcome Brian, hope we can squeeze a few more organized ride (or impromptu for that matter), before the salt trucks start doing their thing. Cheers, Amédée
