Rear Drive Bearings
I recently had my R1100RT inspected at Pro Cycle and Ed told me I should soon replace my needle bearings on the rear drive. He said they failed often and the web seems to support this. There's also a shop selling a bushing to replace the needle bearing that claims increased robustness. Has anyone had this problem? If so, any advice? Has anyone tried the bushings and if so, your impressions. If ordering parts, do I just order the bearings or should I also replace some seals, etc.? I suspect one or more of you folks knows more than I do:-)
