Roadside assistance options: BMWMONA vs CAA or TD Auto Club

Post by JohnCLeBlanc on Tue Jun 06, 2017 12:00 pm

Hi folks,

I was checking out the BMW Owners of America to see if I should join and noticed that they have a roadside assistance plan. $39US non-member, $91US if you also want to be a member. What are people's thoughts about this roadside assistance compared to:

CAA
TD Auto Club
I'm planning a trip to Ann Arbor in July and I'd like to have some coverage. I already have TD Auto Club but I was told on the phone that motorcycles are covered but only for a tow to a automobile service station! I hope this is wrong. Has anyone ever used it?

I have used CAA Plus twice on two bikes with satisfactory results. They ask where you wish to go and as long as it's within your allotted mileage there is no charge.
