For those not able to do the Fall Colours ride this year, you may want to take part in the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride on Sunday 27th. Starts from Point Pleasant Park. Assembly at 9:30am for 10:00am ride start.

If you aren't already familiar with this world-wide event, it is put on around the world every year to raise money for prostate cancer research.

regarding this weekend’s Gentleman’s ride, I want to provide some additional info.

1.  There is a route map; I have attached it to this e-mail.

2. The route this year will be just a little different from last year.  Instead of going up Duke street towards Citadel Hill (and having to stop on that steep hill at several traffic lights) we will turn off of Duke at the first intersection and travel back along Hollis street.  We will get to Citadel Hill, by then going up Morris and then cutting back across Spring Garden.  As this will happen early Sunday morning there should be very little traffic to worry about.

3.  Some folks are having trouble with registering for the ride via the official website.  I am not sure what the problem is.  Please give it a try; but, if registration does not work for you, please DONT WORRY.  Just attend the ride anyway.

4.  We are aiming for 10:00 start to the ride, so arriving by 9:30 would be good.  It will be best to get started around 10:00 so we can be off the peninsula before the traffic starts to build.

5. Its a charity ride, so the more the merrier. Please feel free to invite a fiend along for the ride.
