Off Road-ish trip
Hi Guys. I was talking to the folks at the snow mobile trail association who were very responsive, welcoming and happy to provide us maps of what trails are good for dirt bikes, and large dirt bikes.
If there is interest, lets arrange something for the fall, when the leaves are changing colours. Should be a nice full day ride.
I am thinking of a ride that starts heading towards wentworth around 7 or 8AM, and then ride to there, and then start the trails around 11 AM or 12pm.
Once on the trail we should have snacks, water, etc, and then head back into wentworth, find a restaurant, eat and head back into Halifax.
Any proposals for trails are awesome.
I recall last year a ride like that was done in the valley somewhere. That would also be good, and give us a chance to play in the dirt.
Anyone interested???

I think my better half would also be interested. Valley somewhere? Around fall (no pun intended) time would be potential a glorious time to go before we have to park these things.
Is the valley run you went on before possible perhaps. The more dirt the better.

Re: Off Road-ish trip
Depending on the weekend, and where I am with this new job, I might be able to muscle the KLR out of the garage for something like this.

Re: Off Road-ish trip
Well since there is only about 3-5 of us that would go. I would say lets post here when is a good weekend this month or next and take it from there. Bill knows of trails in the valley that they did a year or two ago, and there are tons of trails in Wentworth. Which ever is less rocky is best.
